Your information, your choices
You can start with estimates and a financial question. MyCIO uses the details you provide to explain supported choices and help you plan practical next steps. No bank connection is needed to start.
Enter balances, income, goals and dates yourself. You do not need to give MyCIO a bank password or brokerage login to build a plan.
If you use MyCIO through another assistant, information you send through that assistant is also subject to its provider’s terms and privacy settings.
Information used to provide the service can include:
Review the planning facts in “Your information & sources” and correct anything that does not reflect your situation. See the Privacy Policy for data handling details.
Hosting, authentication, payment, error-monitoring and AI service providers process information needed to deliver the service. Optional analytics providers receive data only after you allow analytics. The Privacy Policy explains these roles.
Estimates can help you get started. Review the assumptions and missing details before relying on a comparison.
Some questions need exact dates, account ownership or tax details. MyCIO may ask for those facts or explain that a scenario is outside its coverage.
Use the controls in your plan to review or remove individual planning facts. Settings also lets you download your data or request deletion of your account and active planning data.
Limited payment, fraud-prevention, security or legal records may need to remain after account deletion, and deletion from provider backups follows the provider’s backup lifecycle. The Privacy Policy explains these exceptions; contact support with a specific request.
Review a shared plan summary before sending its link to a partner or professional; summaries can contain financial information.
Use the available sharing controls to manage access, and share links only with people you intend to see the result.
MyCIO explains modeled outcomes and helps you work out next steps. It does not place trades, move money or replace an investment, tax or legal professional. You decide what to do and verify important actions before carrying them out.
Examples are illustrative; their assumptions and limits are shown alongside them.
